On August 23, the National Development and Reform Commission, the people’s governments of Guangxi, Guizhou, and Yunnan provinces and regions and China Southern Power Grid Corporation held a joint meeting on the implementation of the revitalization plan for the old revolutionary base area of ​​Zuojiang River in Baise, Guangxi. The reporter learned that China Southern Power Grid will fully implement the relevant requirements of the central government in accordance with the principles of overall optimization and social welfare maximization, strengthen cooperation with local governments, and jointly promote the revitalization and development of the old revolutionary area of ​​Zuojiang River. In the next three years of the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan”, it is planned to invest 10.2 billion yuan to increase the investment, transformation and upgrading of the rural power grid in the old area, and ensure that the key power supply indicators of the rural power grid in the old area reach the national goal of a new round of rural power grid transformation and upgrading according to the county.

This is the largest nuclear energy cooperation project between China and Russia so far.
